Sofia Ilyas, Founder of FLOAT celebrated World Piano Day on March 31st at The National Gallery.
Artists that performed were experimental electronic artist Yaw Evans, installation artist, educator and beekeeper Lily Hunter Green, contemporary classical pianist Karim Kamar, pianist Vetle Nærø and a very special performance by Japanese electronic musician Hinako Omari alongside contemporary dancer Chihiro Kawasaki of Neon Dance.
The performances embraced the innovative spirit of the post-impressionism era, inspired by the Gallery’s exhibition After Impressionism:Inventing Modern Art.
